Good Days and Bad Nights!

I've not been feeling quite myself lately - sometimes my head just doesn't seem like it's mine!  That's my excuse for being a naughty girl last night and keeping Daddy awake from 2am - 4.45am!  I'm off his good girl list, but that's OK, because we only went to church today so there was plenty of time for me to catch up with my missed sleep.

Yesterday. when I was still on the good girl list, Daddy took me and Noah out for the Daddy.  We went out to make sure Mummy could get a sleep after working all night.  Daddy took us to a great place called the Glasgow Science Centre - there is so much I was allowed to play with there.  I splashed in water, played with big fans and coloured material, and sat on a big thing that went round and round and round.

I liked playing with the Lego bricks, but I was just a little short to reach the basin in the middle of the table.  Noah was a good big brother though and made sure I had some bricks, he does look after me good sometimes, although I think he was giving me the bricks he didn't want!  There is also lots of place to crawl and climb, so I made Daddy worked hard at keeping an eye on me and Noah.  I also got a new book from the gift shop - it has a finger puppet of a caterpillar with it.

Last night I went to see Gran and Papa because Mummy was going to work and Daddy and Noah were going to the Ice Hockey.  I had a lovely time and was fast asleep when Daddy came to pick me up.  Little did he know what was to come!

Tha face snuggling continues...

The face snuggling continues - I just love snuggling into stuff.  For the record, the sofa is more snugly than the rug, but the rug is more snugly than the wood flooring, which isn't snugly at all - just cold.

I've had a busy few days.  On Tuesday I went to the library with Mummy and it was good.  We sang a song called, "Clap, wiggle, stretch and jump" - it's just new words to "Heads, shoulders, knees and toes".  Sing along...
"Clap, wiggle, stretch and jump, stretch and jump.
Clap, wiggle, stretch and jump, stretch and jump,
And sway and wave and bend and bump.
Clap, wiggle, stretch and jump, stretch and jump."
Mummy liked it a lot and took great joy in showing Daddy when we came home.  He really wasn't that impressed, (he did have the man-flu) but still thought it was funny to change the word "bump" for "trump"!  He's so silly.  Auntie Gillian then came to play on Tuesday afternoon and apparently we went to feed ducks.  I was asleep so can't be sure we went anywhere!
Yesterday Daddy took Mummy, me and Noah to Nando's for lunch - which was lovely - his man-flu was almost better.  Then today I went with Mummy and Noah to Helen's Parent's and Toddlers at The Salvation Army in Dennistoun.  To be honest, I've been a bit of a grumpy-bum in the last few days though.  Mummy thinks my teeth at the back are pushing through - even more to count wrong!

Nice Sundays and Normal Mondays

Yesterday we had a lovely day.  Mummy, me and Noah went to church in the morning, whilst Daddy had a little sleep after being at work all night.  Yesterday afternoon Uncle 'Ickle Kevin and Auntie Love-Leigh came to visit us.  I haven't seen them much this month because Mummy and Daddy have been working at night and because we haven't been to the see the Braehead Clan ice hockey, so it was really nice that they came round to play.

I've learnt something new in the last few days and that is to pucker my lips when I give people a kiss.  As with any new skill, you only get better by practising.  I gave Uncle 'Ickle Kevin lots of kisses, but I got it wrong once - to his horror - when I forgot to keep my tongue in my mouth!

Today has been a normal Monday, dropping Noah at school, going to Parents and Toddlers and the visiting Gran and Papa and I've mostly eaten pasta.  I also have a new favourite thing, which is lying on things soft and snuggling in with my face.  You should give it a try as often as possible.

A night with Auntie Rita!

I got to spend last night with my Auntie Rita (and Uncle Ian) who was looking after me and Noah because Mummy and Daddy were both working night shifts.  I like my Auntie Rita a lot and I had a lovely time playing and watching TV and doing girlie things like getting dressed up and doing my nails.  Well actually, I'm too little to do my nails and I only got dressed up in my PJ's but it was still nice.  I like spending time with my Auntie Rita so much that I decided that I didn't really want to sleep and miss anything.  The only problem was I got a bit tired and ratty and was not really a good girl between 2.30 and 4.30am!  It's OK though because I've slept most of the day today. Thank you Auntie Rita for looking after me and Noah, sorry I was a grumpy-bum!

Re-count

After a judges inquiry (Mummy's harassing Daddy), there has been a re-count after I posted yesterday that I had 5 teeth.  The official figure is not 5 teeth, but 6. Sorry for any inconvenience that this error may caused. (I can't even count that far, so how am I supposed to know...)

Happy Birthday Papa!

Happy Birthday Papa!  I got up this morning and put on a pretty dress because today is my Papa's birthday.  The dress didn't last too long though as I ripped it when I was crawling - I need practice at being a girlie girl.  Papa and Gran came round for a party at lunch time and it lasted all afternoon.  I helped Papa open his cards and present and I think he liked them.  Parties are great because you get to eat lots of food and we had some lovely things to eat.  I can't wait now until my birthday which is coming around soon!

20% of my life - gone in a flash!

There have been lots of problems meaning that I haven't been able to blog, so Daddy says.  I've missed two months of my life - that's nearly 20%.
So here's my quick catch up.  I now have 5 teeth and I think I'm pushing out some back ones now.  I'm hugely mobile.  I have different crawling techniques depending on what I'm wearing and what surface I'm crawling on.  On carpet I crawl on my hands and knees.  On wooden flooring I crawl like a lame dog, keeping one leg straight to stop me sliding back.  Without socks on, I move to crawling on hands and and feet - it's like running on all fours! I can free stand, and have taken my first (and only) independent step, I will walk holding someones hands.  I am also a climber.  I can get all the way up the stairs in less than 30 seconds and I have been caught standing on the top level of Noah's garage.  Daddy thinks I don't have the gene that makes you naturally cautious.  He hasn't decided if I'm really daring or just really stupid, but thinks that either is going mean hours of waiting in A&E with me in the future.  Daddy also has a knew nick-name for me - Lottie-frog.  He calls me this because I kick my legs and swim like a frog when we go to the pool - I do like swimming.
I'm more vocal and can say "Dad", "Tickle, tickle" and "Good, good". I can also turn on the water-works either when Noah comes too close and I can't be bothered with him, or when Daddy tells me "No".
I'm also a proper girl with a squeal and a giggle!
