Daddy lost his lolly - sucker!
After a quiet snowed-in week with everyone at home (my Daddy has been on holiday from his work) we needed a busy day today and we got one. I was wrapped up snuggly warm which is needed in this weather. My advice to beat the cold is that you wear lots of layers and never leave home without a Buff and if you can get your Mummy to carry you then you'll feel the benefit of her body heat. Mummy, Daddy, Noah and me went in the car down a very bumpy icey motorway to the big town.
I was very surprised when we got to our usual coffee shop because Gran and Grandpa were there. They were on holiday and had come on a bus to see us. After a little time walking around the shops and the Christmas Market we went to a sweetie shop and Mummy brought everyone some sweeties! Daddy had a lovely cherry lollipop and he made the mistake of giving me a taste. Let's just say that was the last time Daddy saw that lollipop! I gripped it so tightly and licked and sucked with all my might! It was a good job that it wasn't as cold as yesterday or I may have got stuck to it.
After doing the shops and walking Gran and Grandpa back to their bus, Mummy, Daddy and Noah and me went on a train that was underground. We went to Kelvingrove Art Galleries and Grandpa and Gran we there too! We had more of a nice time with them before we all had to go home.

Sheep, Donkeys and Reindeers!
I've had a weekend of doing new things. On Friday night I went to the ice hockey for the very first time with my Mummy and my Daddy and my brother Noah. I really liked it and we had seats right at the very front. I like it best when Daddy sings "Ice, ice baby" which they do when there is an icing call - it's a technical hockey term. When Daddy sings it makes me laugh!
Yesterday I went to church at Denistoun with Mummy and Noah and became a sheep for the nativity play. Noah kept saying that I looked like a rabbit, but I think I looked better than he did. He was a donkey and wouldn't put his head on - I think he was scared of making an ass of himself! Ha! Ha! When we got home Noah took a tumble down the stairs and now looks like Rudolph the Reindeer with a bright red nose!
Today Abbie and Layne from next door came round to play for a little bit with their Mummy. We had a lovely time and played all morning as there was no Parents and Toddlers to go to because of the snow. I hope they will come and visit again soon.

Christmas will be all white!
We've had snow and lots of it! I'm not to bothered by it, it just means I get wrapped up so much I can't even move my arms! Noah had some fun with Mummy and Daddy, sledging and building a snowman, but we now have too much of it! So much snow that I'm scared if someone puts me down - I'll be lost until it melts!
Last night something else that was quite strange happened. Daddy and Mummy set up a tree inside the house and then Noah and Daddy decorated it by hanging coloured balls and stars on it. There is also a big cake hanging on it and I've got my eye on it!
I didn't help put anything on the tree, I just supervised from a distance, but now that I'm crawling I've already had a pull and poke at a couple of the decorations. I've been playing with the decorations too much and Daddy told me off this morning - I just turned and the waterworks and got a cuddle. I think I will try and play again later when he's gone to work!

Things are moving forward!
When I say things are moving forward - I mean I now am! I kinda mastered pushing myself backwards but that had it's problems, especially when I got me feet stuck under the sofa. So, I've developed a forward movement. It's not yet a crawl, but more of a shuffle - but it's a shuffle in the right direction. Go me!
This week has been a major girls week with lots of time for 'retail leisure'. I went Christmas Shopping with Mummy and Daddy and Noah last Saturday and then I went clothes shopping with Mummy and Noah on Tuesday and on Wednesday this week. Today Daddy was off work and we hit the shops again - this time to do a little more Christmas Shopping - and I love it! After shopping today Mummy, Daddy and me and Noah went for a walk around Palacerigg Country Park to see the animals. The weather has got a little chilly so pom-pom woolly hats are essential!

Baby Sweetcorn!
I haven't blogged for a while because for a little while my family were pukey-lukey. Everyone is about better now and I have my appetite back. To be honest, I'll eat most things - especially as I have my two front bottom teeth. You have to be careful eating in our house though as Daddy isn't usually far away with a camera to capture the evidence! It took me ages to suck on my corn on the cob, but I have found out that I can get a whole Fox's Moo - mini malted milk biscuit in my mouth in one go! The only problem is keeping it there especially when Noah and Daddy then try to make me laugh!

I'm nearly crawling!
I've had a busy week - it's hard being a baby sometimes. Last Saturday Mummy and me went to a car boot sale and it was good and we sold lots of things. Some people wanted to buy the woolly suit I was wearing - I think it was because I was modelling it so well. On Sunday, Noah and Mummy and me went to messy church at The Salvation Army in Airdrie and then we took Daddy for a walk around the park, but it was very chilly. On Monday I went to Parent and Toddlers with Mummy whilst Noah was at school and then in the afternoon I practised my crawling. I can only push myself backwards at the moment which does present some problems. I got my feet stuck under the sofa and had to be rescued by my big brother!
I've spent the rest of the week socialising. On Wednesday, Mummy, Noah and me went to a place called Time Twisters in Edinburgh. We met up with Hannah and Kathryn and their Mummy, Carol-Anne and we had a great time. Then yesterday Elise and Sam and their cousin Cole came for tea with their Mummy and Daddy, Sarah and Matt. We had a great time, but it was a little chaotic! Today Noah has been a little poorly, so apart from a quick trip to see Gran and Papa, I don't plan to do much!

I have a bear behind!
I'm really into cuddling things at the moment and I find that the softer the better! This is one of my favourite teddy bears and he is soooooooo soooooooooft. I think it was given to me by my big cousins Tasha and Rebekah when I hatched into the world. I like to grab my bear by the ears and snuggle my face into his. I need to think of a name for him but at the moment he is just called bear.

Where did I get that hat?
As my brother Noah is learning to be in big boy pants, Daddy has noticed that we might have spare nappies in his size, so he is trying to think of new uses for them. He thought, as it is getting colder, that they may make a good hat for me - I'm not so sure!
I've had a busy little week this week, kinda doing nothing. Daddy was off work and Noah was off school so Mummy and me had to put up with them both being around all the time. I had my big cousin Liam come to stay and play on Wednesday and Thursday and that was nice. On Thursday I had my first experience of McDonald's which was fun - I liked the balloon best of all. On Friday Uncle 'Ickle Kevin and Auntie Leigh came to play and they took us to Pizza Hut. I like the garlic bread in Pizza Hut, but it does make my burps taste funny!

My Weekend Away
I've been away for the weekend with Mummy and Daddy and my big brother Noah. We didn't go away far but we did get to stay in a big hotel. I had a great time as there was lots of people who wanted to give me lots of attention and I didn't even have to play the cutie card! The hotel even had a swimming pool so we all went swimming - but Noah kept jumping in and splashing me. I do like going swimming - it's like being in a big bath, but with no bubbles. When I got home yesterday I was shattered and fell asleep on the sofa with Mummy for a couple of hours. Then we went out to Nandos for tea - I had some garlic bread and veggie burger!

Life Lessons - Number 1 and 2
As a baby I'm learning new things all the time, but there are some lessons that are vital to get you through life. Daddy always says lesson 1 is "Don't eat the sand" but I think lesson 2 is "Don't jump feet first into things" - especially the sandpit! Luckily Daddy was there to rescue me this time!

My very first post!
Ooooo, this is my very first post on my own blog. I've been watching my big brother Noah do his blog thing for a while (https://littlenoahsarkive.blogspot.com) so I thought, after a little encouragement from my Auntie Tor that it was time to start to do my own and to show my big brother how it really should be done! I'm going to have to spend some time over the next few weeks making the whole thing a little more 'me', but Daddy is off work soon so I'll get him to help me. I'm going to try to get Mummy on the case too as Daddy has sometimes been slow in helping Noah and I've already discovered that girls can 'multi-task'. I can eat and look cute at the same time.
